Senior
Full-size senior sticks for adult and older teen players (roughly 14+), with a stiffer flex suited to more strength. Shop Warrior, Knapper and Passau in the senior end of our sticks range.
How to choose: a senior stick should reach about chin-height in your shoes; go with a flex you can load easily - lighter players can size down to intermediate for a whippier feel.
Senior sticks are made for adults and teens about 14 and up, usually around 5'7" and taller. Standing in your shoes, the stick should reach between your chin and your nose. Lighter or smaller players who find a senior stick too stiff can look at our intermediate sticks.
Most adults use a senior flex somewhere in the middle of the range, and a good starting point is about half your body weight in pounds. Choose a lower flex if you rely on quick wrist shots and snap passes, and a higher flex if you're a bigger player with a heavy shot. If you cut your stick, it will play stiffer than the listed flex.
Yes. Measure carefully, then cut a little at a time from the top of the shaft with a fine-tooth saw. Shortening the stick makes it stiffer, so remove only what you need. Finish the end with a knob of tape from our tape collection for a secure grip.
A grip coating, like on the Fischer RC ONE IS3 Composite with Grip, keeps your top hand locked in place for control on shots and battles. A non-grip finish lets your hands slide freely up and down the shaft, which some players prefer for stickhandling. Either way, you can customize the feel with grip tape or a stick wrap from our tape collection.
